  • Safeguarding

At St Regis CE Academy, we are committed to safeguarding children and young people, and we expect everyone who works in our school to share this commitment.

Adults in our school take all welfare concerns seriously and encourage children and young people to talk to us about anything that may worry them.

Check out our weekly newsletters which contain Safeguarding Spotlight information!

    Information for Young Carers

    What is a Young Carer?

Definition: A young carer is a child or young person under the age of 18 who provides care, support, or assistance to a family member or friend who is ill, disabled, has a mental health condition, or struggles with substance misuse. This includes siblings who might not have a large caring role but whose lives might be affected by the family supporting a disabled or neurodiverse child.
